Previous research has illustrated the role of urban green and blue spaces in improving economic, social, environmental, health-related outcomes populations. The Connswater Community Greenway is presented as a case study to assess social value an regeneration project. Using real-world data from two time points (2012 2017), our analysis focussed on eight key elements: property values; flood alleviation; tourism; biodiversity; climate change; health wellbeing; crime; employment productivity. return investment analysis, we estimated over 40-year horizon. total was be between £56.8m £67m. After subtracting costs (£42.2m), net present £14.6m - £24.8m. benefit-cost ratio 1.34 – 1.59, meaning that for every £1 invested Greenway, local economy gains £1.34 £1.59. Overall, will provide positive which realised after 30 years. Social provides framework incorporation many multifunctional benefits into economic evaluation, providing more complete value.
